All propellers both new and reconditioned are scanned using our Hale MRI computer scanner for statically balancing. Each propeller that leaves our shop will be done to a ISO Class 1 rating. When high accuracy is required Class S is our standard.

Propeller upkeep supports the longevity of your propeller as well as reduces maintenance costs. It also helps decrease fuel consumption, propeller vibration, drag & water friction. Reconditioning and balancing of your props will return them to specifications for less than the cost of new prop.

  • Pitch is the distance the prop would move forward in one rotation if it were moving through a soft solid. Pitch can be True or Progressive

    We own over 200 pitch blocks for outboard propellers.  Each pitch block is CNC machined to manufacture’s standard pitch, blade geometry and cupping.

  • The design on many propellers includes a cup on the blade's trailing edge. This cupping or curved lip on the blade edge lets the propeller grab the water more efficiently. If your propeller needs cupping we have cup gauges 1 - 12.

  • We have a large inventory of Hubs and the latest equipment to re-hub your outboard propellers.

  • We don’t charge extra for a lab finish as all or outboard propellers are done that way Or one can opt for a 5-step polishing system which will leave your stainless steel propellers looking better then new.

    We are level II N.D.T certified. You can bring your prop to our shop and we can do a full die penetrant or we can travel to your location and clean and polish the wheels in place. We are able to provide full reports of the overall inspection.

  • 1-2 week turnaround is standard. We also offer emergency 24-hour service. Call with any other questions.

  • We specialize in every Volvo Series propellers. We carry all the manufacture pitch block for every series. We are a preferred vendor by insurance companies.

  • Propspeed is a designed to increase vessels' speed and fuel efficiency and greatly reduce marine growth from bonding to metal surfaces below the waterline. Propspeed protects your propeller from corrosion and erosion. It is a foul release coating system that doesn't harm marine life.
